What is falcon gts?

Falcon GTS is a series of high-performance sports cars produced by Ford Australia from 1967 to 1976. The GTS (short for Grand Touring Sports) models were based on the Falcon XR, XT, XW, and XY platforms and featured a range of performance upgrades.

The Falcon GTS was initially available with a range of engines, including inline-six and V8 options. Later models were exclusively V8-powered and included the 351ci Cleveland engine. The cars were also equipped with sports suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and limited-slip differentials.

The Falcon GTS models were highly sought after by Australian car enthusiasts and collectors, particularly the XY series which is considered to be the pinnacle of Ford's Australian muscle car production. Some of the rarest Falcon GTS models include the Phase III and Phase IV GT-HO models, which are among the most valuable Australian cars ever made.

Today, Falcon GTS cars are highly prized among collectors and enthusiasts and are still popular for racing and performance driving. These vehicles have become icons of Australian automotive history and continue to hold a special place in the hearts of many car enthusiasts.
